Bespoke Training — Built for Your Team
ATLAS™
Advanced Training & Learning Acceleration System by CIDEC Consultancy
Where the Practical Lessons Ordinarily Accumulated Over Five Years Are Condensed into One Powerful Day of Training
ATLAS™ is CIDEC Consultancy's proprietary training methodology, developed to distinguish our programmes from conventional, generic training courses. All specially curated CIDEC Consultancy courses adopt the ATLAS™ System as their standard training methodology.
The ATLAS™ System accelerates practical learning by condensing the essential knowledge, lessons, insights and real-world experience that participants may ordinarily take several years to acquire into a focused and intensive one-day training programme.
This accelerated learning is achieved through:
- Bespoke and specially curated training notes;
- Focused and carefully structured presentations;
- Practical workshops based on real project situations;
- Case studies, worked examples and problem-solving exercises;
- Complex technical and legal concepts explained in plain, practical and accessible language; and
- Training content specifically selected to address participants' actual responsibilities, operational challenges and workplace needs.
ATLAS™ programmes do more than provide information. They organise complex knowledge into a structured and practical learning system that enables participants to understand the subject more quickly, retain the essential principles and confidently apply what they have learned in their day-to-day work.
Every ATLAS™ programme is designed to transform years of accumulated professional knowledge, practical experience and lessons learned into focused, accessible and immediately applicable learning.
Standard training courses serve a purpose. But for most construction and engineering organisations, the contractual challenges that cost the most money are specific to the projects they deliver, the contract forms they work under, and the capabilities of their existing team.
A bespoke training programme starts with a diagnostic conversation. We identify the knowledge gaps, the recurring contractual failures, and the specific contract forms your team needs to master. The programme is then designed — from scratch — to address those gaps.
What Bespoke Training Addresses
- Notice requirements: Your team understands when and how notices must be issued under your specific contract form — before entitlements are lost.
- Variation management: Proper procedures for confirming, valuing, and tracking variations so that work performed is work paid for.
- Claim preparation: How to prepare a fully substantiated claim that meets the contractual and evidentiary requirements of your jurisdiction.
- Contract administration: Setting up the systems, templates, and workflows that keep the project commercially healthy from award to handover.
- Dispute avoidance: Recognising early warning signs and escalating them before they become boardroom problems.
Who It Is For
Bespoke training is suitable for project teams, commercial departments, contracts managers, quantity surveyors, project engineers, and site supervisors. Programmes can be tailored for any experience level — from teams that are new to formal contract administration to experienced professionals preparing for complex FIDIC or Sharia Law disputes.
How HRD Corp Funding Works
Malaysian companies registered with HRD Corp can claim the course cost from their levy. The process involves three steps:
- Grant application: Your company applies for a grant through the HRD Corp portal (eTriNE). We provide the course details, trainer credentials, and supporting documentation.
- Grant approval: HRD Corp reviews and approves the grant based on your company's levy balance, the course structure, and eligibility.
- Claim submission: After the training is delivered, your company submits the claim through the HRD Corp system for reimbursement.
We handle the course documentation and assist with the information you need for the application. Your HR or training team manages the grant application and claim submission through the HRD Corp portal.
What Employers Should Know
HRD Corp claimability is subject to employer eligibility, available levy balance, grant approval by HRD Corp, and compliance with HRD Corp's terms and conditions. Employers should confirm their levy status before registering. We recommend checking your levy balance and grant eligibility through the HRD Corp eTriNE portal.
